Hotel Mediolanum

I’ll start with the positives first, the breakfast was good. It is close to the train station and there is some decent night life nearby. Two complimentary bottles of water. There are so many negatives though! In our room, just outside the window, there was a strobe light from some construction that flashed all night in our room, we each had to cover our heads to sleep. Construction started at 7:30AM, with the sound of a jack hammer. The room is very tired, damage to the wood floors in the bathroom, and the closet. The shower water was warm, not hot. The towels had holes in them. The bed was very hard and the pillows flat. The orange chairs are old and uncomfortable. If you do stay here ignore the guy lighting up his crack pipe outside and the pick pockets. I think he lost a cat life when I confronted him after he bumped up behind me.

My mother and I stayed here in mid September 2022. After staying in some B&Bs the previous couple of places, it was so lovely to be in a real hotel with proper services. Reception was great. The room was clean and comfortable with fulling working air conditioning and super fast wifi. It was a little way from the main station, but not too far, and there's plenty of restaurants around. My only complaint about the room would be the awkward shower design - you had to stay up one end of the bath and be too close to the taps in order not to spray water all over the bathroom. Very nice breakfast. I would happily stay here again!

It's a good price/quality deal for a hotel in this part of Milan. Although, the hotel is not very new and probably you could expect a little bit more from 4 stars, it has some good points. First of all, the people that work there. The attention from the reception (Bruno) was marvelous, the waiter who works at the breakfast and greets guests was always very welcoming and attentive as well. Everyone speaks English and other languages. Breakfast was good. Cleaning was ok, I guess. It was quite calm. The room had minibar. In general, it had all the minimal services that 4 star hotel should provide. The location is not too bad, as it is close to the central station. If you arrive to the central station and go to the hotel from there, I would recommend to walk to it trough the other nearby street (that has a lot of hotels on it).

Made our last few days of our Europe trip pleasant! With this kind of price and a great location. This hotel deserves a good review from me. I didn’t have any expectations during booking, I thought, I just need some clean bed and bathroom for a few nights. When I got to the hotel, you can see its a newly renovated old hotel that is well kept. Well onto the good things, - Early check-in time. 12pm, and then you can store your luggage to your room and wander around Milan. - Informative and helpful staff. The front office staff gave us some news that would be a strike tomorrow happening. You won’t know that unless you’re locals. also, the luggage staff are so friendly! They also booked us a taxi to Malpensa airport for our morning flight at 5am. (Also we had some funny encounters with the seemingly new front office guy. Hope you’re doing well! 🥓🥓) - Cheap and unlimited coffee - buffet breakfast for only €10! - Safe and trusty staff. I left my room key in the front desk. Nothing’s happening. No theft what so ever. PS: leaving your room key is optional. They won’t push you to leave the key. Hope all of the staff working there have a good day! Thank you for all of your hard and kind work 😁

Had stayed for 4 nights in single standard room Located quiet close to Milan Central Station....just about 5 mins walk. Room was of decent size however the bathroom was very small especially the shower area Breakfast spread was good Front desk managers - not very interactive and for some reason none of them had a smile on their face. Overall I would recommend this hotel for a short stay

The room was exactly like the pictures and was very clean. The only thing I'd say is the AC wasn't doing anything. You could hear it on, but I was hot and sticky the entire heat wave. I ended up wearing bug spray and opening the window. (I'm allergic to mosquitoes, so I usually keep windows closed). Also the gym is at a sister location, not at here. I
